OUR STORY

4th Generation, Family-Owned Business

Since Herbert Harry Taylor moved to Broughton Grounds Farm in 1914, four generations of the Taylor family have operated a traditional mixed farming system to maintain soil fertility and provide a diverse habitat for wildlife and rare plants.

We are in the Higher-Tier Countryside Stewardship scheme and we enjoy hosting school visits and a weekly farm club for local day care centres.

ABOUT BROUGHTON GROUNDS FARM

Welcome to Broughton Grounds Farm!

We are a traditional mixed farm on the Broughton Castle estate near Banbury.
We farm a low-input mixed system with sheep, cattle, poultry, and arable.

We are in the Higher-Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme and look after a varied range of wildlife habitats including traditional wildflower hay meadows.

We offer fresh produce (meat, eggs, honey), Bed and Breakfast accommodation, and farm visits for schools and adults who attend local daycare centres.
