Feeding the new-born lambs.

Nothing quite beats the hands on approach. Children love to get up close and personal with our new-born lambs each spring.

Free Farm Visits

We offer free school visits throughout the year, although the majority are usually in April (lambing time!) and September (harvest theme). Visits are adapted to the needs of each group and contain plenty of seasonal, hands-on activities such as lamb or calf bottle feeding, sheep shearing and fleece rolling, egg collecting, apple pressing, nature walks, digging potatoes, hand-milling wheat, lamb weighing, and looking at bees in our display bee hive.

We also run a farm club on Wednesday afternoons for adults who attend local day care centres.
